Mariposa Mitad Bowl

Guadalupe Garcia Rios has been making pottery for over 24 years. Her specialty is "ceramica alta temperatura" (high temperature/high fire ceramics). Fired at over 1,250 degrees and inspired by pre-Hispanic designs and nature, her designs and creativity are unparalleled- Each piece is unique and one of a kind.

This dark tonal bowl features a face with half of a butterfly wing on it. It is surrounded dark navy geometric shapes and has waves rimming the edges. This bowl could double as a serving dish or a decorative piece.
