DETAILS
Each 32 x 32 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what the creator, Veronica Espinoza Rodríguez, wrote about her piece:
“I made this embroidery of daisies, which is the most well-known flower in my community. In our community there are many different flowers, but the artisans use daisies the most in their designs. I represented the daisy and other flowers, and I used different colors and included the bird that represents Mi Golondrina. This reflects how I have been taught to work as a team to create a good piece of work.”
