DETAILS
Each 16 x 16 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what the creator wrote about her piece:
“What I created in this embroidery represents what is harvested in these places and what we can eat because it is healthy: bananas, grapes, watermelon, pineapple, mango, pears, strawberries. Corn is also very nutritious and essential for making tortillas. That’s why I included it, because all of this is part of living a healthy and natural life.”
