Each 16 x 16 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what Antonia Martinez Santiz, the creator, wrote about her piece:

"Mi inspiración son las bellas flores que bordo porque están en mi jardín. Siento su aroma, y sobre todo, la alegría cuando florecen en distintos colores. Eso me da paz y felicidad, y me emociona bordar todo tipo de puntadas mientras observo cómo es una flor."

“My inspiration is the beautiful flowers I embroider because they are in my garden. I can feel their fragrance, above all, the joy when they bloom in different colors. This brings me peace and happiness, and it excites me to embroider all kinds of stitches, seeing how a flower truly is.”
