Each 16 x 16 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what the creator wrote about her piece:

“Yo bordé todo lo que conozco en el lugar donde vivo. Bordé flores y árboles, un caballo, una vaca, un gato, un conejo, el sol, las nubes, un colibrí, un pato, un gallo, una hormiga, una mariposa y un grillo. Todo eso lo plasmé en mi bordado.”

"I embroidered everything I know from the place where I live. I embroidered flowers and trees, a horse, a cow, a cat, a rabbit, the sun, the clouds, a hummingbird, a duck, a rooster, an ant, a butterfly, and a cricket. I captured all of that in my embroidery."
