When Angelica was just 7 years old, she began to learn the art of pottery from her parents.
Angelica’s pieces are inspired by the Oaxacan culture around her.
Angelica works with very simple tools to make very detailed pieces. She also does not paint her pieces. She developed a process using “agobes,” which is the process of creating color with natural materials that produce the colors that she strives for.
