Each 16 x 16 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what Rosa, the creator, wrote about her piece:
“Mi nombre es Rosa. Este es mi bordado y me gusta bordar esta flor que se llama pensamientos. Esta flor significa para mí aprender muchas cosas de bordar y aprender más porque me hace sentir feliz y me da paz y alegría.”
“My name is Rosa. This is my embroidery, and I like to embroider this flower called pensamientos (pansies). This flower means for me to learn many things through embroidery and learning more because it makes me feel happy and brings me peace and joy.”
