Each 16 x 16 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what Anita Ara Perez, the creator, wrote about her piece:
"Me llamo Anita Ara Pérez. Me inspiré al bordar la silueta de una mujer, ya que me gusta bordar en muchos colores, como los de las flores, y me apasiona muchísimo."
"My name is Anita Ara Perez. I was inspired to embroider the silhouette of a woman because, like everything, I like to embroider in many colors, like the flowers, and I am very passionate about it."
