Esperanza Flor de Noche
Our Esperanza dress is the perfect go-anywhere dress. We love this dressed up with mules or flats for a casual dinner. The dress is midi-length and made of 100% cotton. The dress has a v-neck with large princess sleeves with a loose elastic finishing. The piece is hand-embroidered with large flowers by artisans in Huixtan, a community in Chiapas.

Huixtan is a Tzotzil Maya town in the southernmost state of Chiapas, Mexico. The community is best known for making traditional garments worn by surrounding communities that showcase finely embroidered flower motifs across the decolletage. The traditional embroidery uses a prestige thread known as "artisela" that is finer than yarn or estambre. Consequently, their most traditional blouses are usually reserved for special occasions. Our Poppy dress employs this embroidery technique along with fine looping at the center of every flower, which gives the dress a look that is almost reminiscent of Pointillism.
Due to the intricate embroidery work, we recommend dry clean only.
