Each 16 x 16 embroidered piece of fabric is a one-of-a-kind creation done by our amazing artisans. Each artisan was invited to create a design that held personal significance and inspiration for them while sharing a heartfelt note about the story behind their artwork. This is what Ruth Elizabeth Martinez Severino, the creator, wrote about her piece:
“Me ilusiona bordar diferentes puntadas de las flores que me muestra en el patio de mi casa y también da alegría a nuestra vida.”
“It excites me to embroider the different stitches of the flowers I see in the patio of my home, as they also bring joy to our lives.”
